Student Success Statement
“Honesty is the corner stone of character. The honest man or women seeks not merely to avoid criminal or illegal acts, but to be scrumptiously fair, upright, fearless in both action and expression. Honesty pays dividends both in dollars and in peace of mind,”
-B.C. Forbes

I believe that what Forbes says is correct. Honesty shows character. If you are an honest person you can rest assured that you will always have a clear conscience and peace of mind. If you are honest in your interviews, at your parents, at yur bf/gf or anymore the you will be trust it to everyone around you
Problem of the Week
Guiding Questions for Rubric

Crossing the Bridge

Problem
The problem is about a bridge that a zombie name Joel is chasing 3
Humans names are Denisse, Alexia and Steve. They all need to cross the
Bridge in less than 17 minutes. There a flashlight that someone needs to
Carry back and forth. There only one flashlight and the information that I needed to find was all the characters have to cross the bridge in 17 minutes and each characters has a speed limit like Joel has 10 minutes, Steve has 1 minutes, Alexia has 2 minutes, Denisse has 5 minutes but she has a broken leg. The important that the reader has to know that it cannot be in less or higher than 17 minutes.

Strategy
Well my group and I we use pictures. We use pictures because it was the easiest thing that we could figure it out the answer. Well I understand it by using pictures. It helped me understand because I saw the strategies and I knew that pictures will help me to solve the problem. Well the strategy I used was pictures and elimination but elimination didn't really help me because you can’t really eliminate on this problem. It helped me to understand because I’m a visual person.

Solution
My solution is 17 minutes. Well the reasons are that one we proved those 17 minutes is the right answer because we check multiple times. It also make sense and its true because we worked a few times at first but it didn't make sense but then when we found a way to make 17 minutes without leaving none of characters alone.

Reflection

Well I would help other student engage this problem by telling them the problem. The steps that I would have them do to solve the problem. The first I would tell them the problem, then I would tell them how I did it, lastly I would tell them how I got the answer. The strategies that I would tell them to use are pictures and guessmate. The question I would ask them is, “did it work”?
Honesty
9 of 10
Honesty is always the best policy. Employers need to know that they can trust you with everything from company credits to trade secrets. How can you work with honesty? You demonstrate integrity every day that you do your own homework and resist the temptation to cheat on exams.
What is honesty?
Honesty is telling the truth
Honesty is straight forward conduct
Honest is being sincere, truthful,
Trustworthy, honorable, fair genuine, and
Loyal with integrity.
You are being honest when you…
Do your homework
Tell a friend the truth
Explain the real reason you didn’t turn in your homework
Keep your eyes on your own paper
Clean up your room after making a promise
Give the cashier the extra money she gave you by mistake.
Write a report in your own words instead of copying
Admit you made the mistake
Keep a friend’s secret
Turn in a wallet full of money that you found.

Student Success Statement
“Stop worrying about whether you’re going to
win or lose and focus your full
                            attention on what’s happening
                           right this moment”

I agree to this quote because no matter what if you win or lose you have to know what going on in the game.
Time management
8 of 10
Master the moments and you may be a real pro when it comes to juggling the many demands on your time.—classes, homework and activities—with some family help. Colleges give you an even bigger chance to sharpen your time management skills by doing it all on your own. And that is a good thing since most jobs require multi-tasking. You might need to take care of current clients while attracting new ones, respond to e-mails while working on a major presentation, or order tomorrows produce while planning next week’s menu.
Someone said, “Wherever you are be there.” Focus on the present moment and give it all your attention. Don’t let your mind drift and wander here and there when you need to be thinking and concentrate on the moment at hand. You can’t go back and recapture this moment, so make the most of it while it is NOW. Master the present and you will master the future. Work smart by mastering the present moment.
